Ryan’s place was just as described and the dock/water/water toys etc. we’re awesome. He was also very kind and easy to communicate with and always responded right away. Only thing that I would recommend if you are staying here is to bring an extra towel. We were only left one each. Just good to have an extra so you have one for showering and one for the dock/swimming.

If you are looking for something remote, comfortable and with a great view, this is it. This cute little cottage sits at the top of a fairly steep hill and you are required to drive through a windy narrow gravel road. It was absolutely amazing to drive through during the peak colour season. Be sure to be respectful and drice the posted speed limit. The cottage comes fully equipped for your kitchen needs, perhaps just bring your spices for cooking/baking. There is an easy to use double oven (awesome), microwave, slow cooker, air fryer , dishwasher and functional fridge with ice cube trays (yay), as well as many other things. The bedrooms had very comfortable mattresses and clean sheets/comfortable, and they smelled amazing. They were a decent size though on the smaller side. No complaints here. All rooms had a dresser or shelves to store your belongings. The house comes well equipped with many things, toilet paper, cottage instructions on how to dispose of waste and recycling (1 pass provided so be mindful), paper towel etc. The livingroom had 2 comfortable sitting areas with comfy throw blankets for cuddling up. And let's nit forget the view from the couches let alone anywhere in the living area. There is a separate area with the wood stove and futon. Also has a great view and the wood stove was easy to use, especially with the video instructions provided by the host. This was perfect on the chilly nights to help warm up the home.. The home can be heated via propane and it works wonderfully. The deck has a wonderful sitting area and a large BBQ for your use. And the view! Just below the deck is a sitting area where you can sit by the fire. And the view! If you go down to the lake there are 2 sitting areas, one for a fire and another on the floating dock for fishing and to admire The View. water toys available to enjoy a cruise around the lake. please be careful descending the stairs and making your way to the docks. Not for the faint of heart. Going back up is a bit tougher for those of us not in the best of shape. Neighbors were friendly and not a bother. The host had an amazing response time and assisted when we thought we were lost (area has spots without cell service). We didn't encounter any wifi issues. 10/10 would recommend. We truly enjoyed our week at Ryan's place. Note: Cloesest gas/groceries is Robinson's & Shell which is about 15 mins from the cottage. Huntsville is about 40 mins away and Algonquin approximately the same. Screaming Heads was worth the drive (1 hour; 30 mins from Huntsville). Dorest Tower was a cool lil visit just note during peak colour season you must book in advance, same as Algonquin but we thought it was completely worth it (just go early to avoid the crazy crowds).

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The towels and linens were soft. We spent most of our time on the dock and in the water. Our whole family had a great time.

We loved it and we will be back! The beds were super comfy and the blankets were amazing. Beautiful bay and waterfront. Steps not for the faint of heart! I got my cardio! Great amenities in the kitchen. Wonderful afternoon sun. The Woodstove was perfect for cool evenings. Quiet area. Great Lake trout fishing. Neighbours were great. Water was clear. Dock is excellent. Very clean. Can’t wait to return for some fall fishing! Thanks to Ryan for being so attentive!
