We enjoyed our stay and the house was great. The water access was such a nice perk and we used the kayaks they provided many times. A big bonus! The manatee swimming tour was really fun. We also had great seafood- Seafood Cellar was our favorite. Johnnie was a perfect host and we recommend renting this home.

Our family vacation at Johnnie’s home was absolutely wonderful!! The home was very clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need, and the sea wall docking for our two boats was wonderful!! My grandkids were so happy they got to learn to kayak. The screened porches were so comfortable for our family games, coffee, and appetizers! This home met all of our needs and exceeded our expectations!

This was a great location for boating. However when booked the pictures indicated that they had a boat lift. When questioned about it I was told they hadn’t had one for 9 months, that they just hadn’t updated their pictures on the website. While a minor inconvenience it was disappointing. We also found that the power outlet at the dock didn’t work so we improvised by running our power cable to the house. We also found the grill to be in need of repair or better yet trashed. Either it wouldn’t get hot so it took almost 20 minutes to cook 2 burgers or on our second attempt it was so hot that I pretzeled some brats in about 5 minutes. We found the house to be very nice and comfortable. I would suggest however that you update procedures book. We found the living room tv to be difficult to figure out and the WiFi passwords didn’t match the ones found on the plastic sign holders. It also would have been nice if the ice maker worked but bags from the store worked fine

Excellent stay. The home was spotlessly clean, very welcoming, and Johnnie offered clear instructions all the way around. Highly recommend!
