We are really happy to have spend the week in the Portside: it was really cosy after our long walks in the highland, especially on rainy days. The area is very quiet, you can walk to the shop, the beds are great, there is all what you need in the kitchen to cook good meals. If you need a place to explore this part of Scotland, I do recommend this place!

This was a lovely central Greenock Flat in a tenement building. Parking was plentiful (January), but you just need to be mindful of restricted times during the week. Local shops and supermarkets were all within walking distance. the Ocean Terminal was also a 10 min walk away. Train stations were close by too for an easy route into Glasgow City Centre. The flat is on the top floor, so you will have to climb a few flights of stairs. The living spaces in the flat were lovely, modern, and comfortable. The kitchen, shower room and toilet are very small. The toilet was tiny, so if you're slightly on the larger build side, it might not be the most comfortable. The kitchen needed a bit of maintenance, but everything was in working order, so it was fine for us for a few days. The mattress in the bedrooms were lovely so we had a lovely night's sleep after long hours travelling!

We would very much recommend this place, It is as described, well laid out, clean, comfortable, and you have everything you need, Just two things to think about for fellow travellers - the toilet is very small! and the toilet door doesn't pull fully closed without a fight, (the door and surround has been drowned in paint!) but this didn't cause us any issues during the stay Also the door to the apartment complex from the street needs a really good push if it has been left on the catch, so don't be afraid to force it or you won't get in! We thought the door was locked and contacted the host, who was extremely helpful and responsive. Thanks for having us!

Enjoyed our stay, a problem with the Central heating and hot water. Which was dealt with very quickly by Linda and Mark. Very nice to deal with. Toilet room very small, shower room and the rest of the house all good. Would have no hesitation staying here again if needed.
