We had a lovely time at Mary’s place! The room was cozy, tidy, clean and had special touches. The communication with Mary was great and she was very responsive. The whole process was smooth and we highly recommend this bnb! Thank you for everything Mary!

Most people have their own idea about the perfect bolthole for a short break. Myrtle cottage is most definitely that perfect place. It is a magazine quality design feature of the most complete bijou cabin with absolutely everything you could want. Even the garden is worthy of a feature at Chelsea. Situated in a small village in beautiful countryside and although on a country road the traffic was minimal. The local pub was within a 10 minute walk and connections to nearby towns such as Banbury, Oxford and villages of the Cotswolds were amazingly easy to drive to. Our hosts, Mary and Christian were the epitome of kindness, friendly and very welcoming. Thoughtful touches such as milk, fresh bread and jam plus fresh flowers were a welcome treat on our arrival. We would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone and every one and be amazed if they didn't enjoy it as much as we did. Myrtle Cottage is compact but ideal for singles or couples to use as a base to visit the surrounding areas. It is most advisable that they also have their own transport and good walking shoes for the incredible walks in the area. The Reynolds of Brentwood.

A great find! The studio is lovely, small but perfectly formed, like a boutique hotel bedroom with kitchen. Comfortable and equipped with essentials of a high quality, lovely finishing touches and details. The courtyard is very private and a sun trap in the evening when it is shining. The wake up view of the sunrise through the garden in the morning is idyllic - i didnt want to leave! Very peaceful and the ideal place to escape (though wifi was available if you really need to be connected) After initially worrying it might be a little too on the edge of the Cotswolds I soon found I was so wrong, there were so many lovely gardens and towns to visit, all within 20-30 mins and some stunning hill walks around the village (great view from the castle) Mary was a lovely host, on hand to answer any questions and made suggestions of places to visit

Mary is an incredible host and the cottage is perfect for a weekend away. Any slight issues we had Mary fixed instantly making our stay a delight. The location is great for country walks with lots of trails right by the house and a nice town a short drive away with a Tesco and some pubs. Would strongly recommend a stay with Mary as the cottage is cosy and comfortable and met all our needs
