En el dormitorio, directamente desde la cama, se tiene una linda vista a las montañas. El barrio es muy tranquilo con menos tráfico que en otras partes de Quito. Unos 100 metros bajando la calle hay un bar/pizzeria que abre de noche.

Beautiful apartment, perfectly furnished, located in a quiet, safe, walkable neighbourhood with gorgeous views - did not even feel like leaving just for the views. It feels like you are in Tuscany when you walk in, surrounded by the mountains. Would come back again just for the apartment!

Stunning views of Quito east and when the sky is clear you get a peek of one of the volcanos surrounding the city (also from the bedroom). The flat is in the area Guápulo, which is a rather calm neighborhood. You should visit Parque Metropolitano Guangüiltagua if you need a little break from the city. In 15 - 20 min. on foot (steep at the beginning) you can enter the area La Floresta. The entrance to the building is extremely secure and you might feel you enter a castle (the fairy tale kind). Common spaces are beautifully decorated and share the same stunning views. The flat offers much space, a fine kitchen and nice old furniture. We got a big water filter bottle, which is very helpful. The host Daniel is very caring and responsive. Overall a wonderful stay, especially for remote workers like us. You might need warm socks.

Great for working remotely! I'm a software engineer and the internet was fast enough for all my needs while I stayed for about two weeks at this location. And the view! If you think it looks great in the pictures, wait until you walk through the front door for the first time... Neighborhood feels very safe—sometimes Quito can feel hectic and dangerous, but this neighborhood is a hidden gem. Feels almost like country living, but you're right in the city. Definitely visit the church at the bottom of the hill, it's beautiful. The floor is concrete and can be a little cold, but it's no problem if you get yourself a nice pair of alpaca slippers. And Daniel was more than accommodating when I asked for a space heater and an extra blanket. Overall, and especially for the price, this is a great place to be!

Daniel is a very good host, accurate and promot to satisfy my requests and make my journey more pleasant. The flat is cozy and despite the cold weather the house is insulated and I did not feel discomfort. The view is astonishing over the valley, so worth
