We had a great weekend at Melanie’s! Perfect location and within walking distance to restaurants. The house was fully stocked with just about anything you could need. Absolutely lovely home with charm and a cozy feel.

We had an amazing time at Melanie's place! She was extremely communicative, the place was clean, and she was very welcoming to our family. It had everything we needed and was in a great location. This was our first time in Deep Creek and we will certainly be back and renting Melanie's place!

We had a wonderful time on our weekend getaway! The cottage was a perfect location and the dock was perfect for our boat! The house was furnished with everything you can think of and could possibly need! The host thought of everything, even board games and card games! The home was cozy and welcoming! The host was prompt with answers to my questions and was very friendly! We would certainly come back to this home and highly recommend for anyone looking for a quaint stay on Deep Creek Lake!

Melanie’s lake house is in a great location. It’s a short walk to the water and is near a great wine and used book shop and a steakhouse. It’s a short drive from Deep Creek proper and Oakland (with shops and more). I wouldn’t recommend more than 6 adults given the tight quarters upstairs but that really has to do with personal preference regarding space. Melanie was a delightful and responsive hostess and I appreciated my interactions with her. The house was nice for our family’s weekend getaway. Thanks Melanie!

We stayed for a couple of days for a quick getaway. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. Everything that we needed was available - utensils, detergent, etc. The host provided an information binder with recommended places to eat and things to do. We enjoyed putting the puzzles together.
