My husband and I utterly fell in love with this property. It feels like living in another time, in a place where time stands still. The house is old, so expect some mustiness - but it was pristine inside and beautifully decorated with a mix of antiques and modern furniture. Every room was magazine-worthy. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable (moderately firm foam mattresses), and we enjoyed every amenity - cooking in the kitchen, throwing darts outside, sitting by the fire pit under the stars, sampling records, grilling hot dogs, swinging under the giant tree, and playing games in the kitchen nook. We were so grateful we got to bring our two dogs; they were ELATED. They went crazy, running around and exploring the fields and acreage. The only two (VERY minor) drawbacks I would note: the shower pressure was fairly light, and the property is adjacent to the road/byway which yields a little bit of traffic noise. That said, we cannot wait to return. This home is truly special.

Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Great walkable trails for walking our dogs. Felt very safe. Clean, uncluttered home with everything we needed.

Home and property were lovely and very clean. We were in town for a wedding so it was a nice place for us to stay with our family and dog. I do feel, however, it was overpriced. The location is pretty remote so we had to spend a fair amount of time in the car to find groceries and restaurants. The bathroom was clean but very small. For us the foam mattresses were uncomfortable but that may be because we are used to traditional box spring and mattress. That being said, if in the area again we would look to return to this location.
