I recently stayed at Samridhi's Magnolia Homestay in Darjeeling or I should just call it "the gateway to heaven". You get a serene view of lush green mountains as well as cityscape from the balcony. The apartment is clean and comfortable and what makes it worth is the inclination of the host to go an extra mile to cater to guest requests. Will surely be coming again to this place. Look no further as this is the place that will make your travel experience a +1

Everything about Samridhi's place is LOVELY. Samridhi is super friendly and helpful, extremely responsive. Her place was very clean and the view from the balcony was STUNNING. Food was homely and the tea I had every morning was very tasty. Safe for solo travelers as it's inside the DM office compound. Very peaceful, away from the crowded markets. But still, everything is a 10min walk away. You can get groceries from small shops downstairs. Happy Tea Valley is 5mins walking from Samridhi's place. Mall Road is a 20min walk. Overall - 10/10 for solo travelers or even couples.

My recent stay at Magnolia Homestay was an absolute delight! I was travelling solo and felt very warmly welcomed by Samridhi and her family from the moment I arrived. The apartment was impeccably maintained and every necessity was thoughtfully taken care of. The environment was very peaceful, making it the perfect setting for both relaxation and work. The WiFi speed was usually good and I faced no issues during my work meetings. The good homemade food, nice views from the balcony and the evening chants/songs from a nearby Buddhist temple added extra charm to my stay. What truly sets Magnolia apart is the hospitality of the hosts. Samridhi went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I wanted throughout my stay. She provided detailed directions, cab service number and also arranged help for my luggage. I wholeheartedly recommend Magnolia Homestay to anyone wanting to stay close enough to the Darjeeling attractions but away from the bustling crowd. Thank you, Samridhi!
