Perfect weather made for a pleasant stay with my siblings at cottage #4. Wisdom, the co-host, was helpful when we needed some assistance. It's a typical cottage so we weren't expecting luxury accommodation. It had the four beds we needed and all the essentials to make simple meals and keep drinks cold. The information provided in the description was accurate. Accordingly, we brought our own bedding, towels and one of us uses a wood stove so they brought a bin of firewood. We made use of the available park pass to go to Presqu'ille for a hike. All of us used the kayaks for a paddle out on the bay. The shore area is stony and the bay is weedy; however, you can take advantage of the provincial park pass and go to the beaches there. There are two restaurants within walking distance of this property so we could let someone else cook the "fancy" meal one evening. Brighton is a five minute drive away where we shopped at the large Sobey's and the LCBO for snacks and beverages. Note, too, that if you just need beer Sobey's has lots of selection in fridges.

We had a great stay here. We stayed in cottage #4 which is the largest. The cottage is basic but clean and comfortable and it had everything we needed. We appreciated having the kayaks and canoe to use. It’s also a great location for day trips. Presque’ile provincial park is close by. Kingston and Peterborough are not much more than an hour drive away and Sandbanks is just under an hour. The owner is on site much of the time doing property maintenance and cleaning and he responded quickly to texts if we needed anything.

Amazing stay, with good outdoor activities and utilities, the washroom has no lock and the floors were abit greasy, otherwise it was a great experience

The good stuff: very clean Home. Amazing views. Very relaxing. The girls loved the outdoor toys and trampoline. The water was like glass day 1. Beautiful sunset and mornings. The bad: I just found a few strands of hair on bed sheets. we purchased the linen package so for the price I expected very clean sheets. When Mike brought over new ones they had the same thing… not sure why. The towels were very nice tho. The appliances may need an upgrade. The microwave barely popped our popcorn and stove top was not very powerful. The toaster oven didn’t work. Very small Bbq. There were also mice that got to our pasta and chips unfortunately. It’s a cottage but traps would do the trick. The cottage was very well stocked for everything else. I’d suggest wearing water shoes. All stones beach and very mossy and slippery. Bring own kindling.
