One of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. An absolute gift that theodoros shares this place. The cabin is off grid and cheerful great for people like us who enjoy simplifying things. An off the beaten track peaceful and remote location. Sea views, private beach swim spot, bird song. we also saw dolphins !🐬 Worth the rough dirt path adventure, our hire car managed it with some careful driving. Best to pack your supplies and stay there for a while so you don’t have to do it multiple times. Theodoros is such a friendly and generous guy, went over and beyond to see we were comfortable. Sad to leave but hope to be back!

Hoewel de locatie uitzondelijk was en de weg er naar toe een bijzondere ervaring (4x4 niet alleen aan te bevelen maar echt noodzakelijk), waren wij toch zeer ontevreden! De beschrijving komt in het geheel niet overeen met het gebodene. Door de gevraagde prijs (de hoogst op heel Methana!) veronderstelden wij in een redelijk uitgerust huisje te komen. Er was geen 220v maar 12. Helaas deed de koelkast het niet en was de keuken in ander gebouw op 100 m afstand. Het geheel was heel primitief en niet confortabel. Daar kun je voor kiezen maar dat was ons niet duidelijk. Het genoemde prive strand was heel slecht bereikbaar, voor senioren al helemaal niet.

I can't find the words to describe how special and magical this place is. And that's without mentioning Theodoros who is an amazing host. We loved everything about our experience there: the beauty of nature, the hospitality - conversation and drinks, the feeling to be alone in the wild and yet the close proximity of great restaurant. Theodoros has built something really special there, so if you are passing in the area and this place happens to be free - Do not miss out on the chance and book it! We only regret we could not extend our stay any longer than we did.
