This newly constructed cottage is close to the water and a private beach is within a 5 minute walk. Kayaking, boating and of course swimming are all available. Our home has an open concept living room, kitchen, and dedicated work space, with two bedrooms and 1 bath. We are located 1 mile from historic Wickford Village, and 15 minutes from Newport. We are sure you will love this great spot as much as we do. Perfect for any couple or small family. The front entry opens to a large mudroom with inside stairs leading up tp the main living area. The main living area is an open concept design with cathedral ceilings. The kitchen area is separated from the living room by a full length island with seating for 4. Sliders in the living room open to a fully screened in porch with beautiful views of Narragansett Bay. Master bedroom has a queen size bed, chest of drawers and full closet. Second bedroom has 2 twin beds, chest of drawers and full closet. Each of the bedrooms and the living room have mini split units for heating and cooling with separate thermostats. Additionally, each room has an overhead light and ceiling fan. The bathroom has a large walk in shower and washer and dryer in the closet. There is also a dedicated work area in the living room. A wall mounted tv in the living room and high speed internet throughout the unit are also included.

Perfect rental. Even better in person. Modern, updated appliances but more importantly the place was spotless and clean. Appreciated the extra amenities as well. Truly a five star experience. Wish we could have extended our stay here.
We recently downsized so this was our first family holiday in our new Wickford condo. We could no longer host all of our sons for sleeping so we rented Ed and Joyce’s home. What a gorgeous home !!!!! It was clean, beautiful, and very comfortable. Fantastic kitchen and bath. Gorgeous views. Our adult kids were close by but did not run to us in the morning as they were so comfortable in Ed and Joyce’s rental. We older folk got to go to sleep early in our condo while our adult sons got to kick back in this cozy cottage, playing games and catching up with one another. This home blessed all of us and was an answer to my prayers for how to manage my entire family in our new lifestyle. We would love to rent this fabulous home in the future. this cottage is most definitely comfy. my wife and I came back to Rhode Island for a funeral, and we were greeted and treated with care and respect. I will surely be utilizing his home in the future!!
I spent the week in Wickford to visit family and this house was absolutely perfect for the occasion. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and located in a peaceful area. I loved having coffee on the big screened in porch and walking down to the private beach at the end of the road. Ed and Joyce made sure the home was nice and clean, provided a list of local recommendations, and ensured it was equip with everything you need for your stay. I would definitely stay again.
This place was fantastic for our family trip! We needed a spot for our trip to Rhode Island and Edmund's place was an excellent solution for us; clean, organized, and a practical layout with all the necessary amenities.

Onsite parking is provided in a private driveway. No parking at beach which is a 5 minute walk.
