We have just spent a lovely week in Catherine’s gite. It was perfect for 2 families of four. The house huge with lots of space. It is modern and clean and there are lots of thoughtful touches including the play room and children’s toys. The beds were really comfortable and with blackout blinds we slept really well. Our children loved swimming every day in the pool. We had a fantastic time exploring the local area - it is beautiful and there is lots to do! We are already talking about returning and would definitely recommend.

Catherine’s home is nested in the small rural town of st Germain sur ay. There is a Boulangerie nearby and the nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes away drive away. The local beach is a short bike ride away and Mont St Michele and the Normandy D day beaches are about an hour drive away. The home was exactly what we were looking for the family. It’s child friendly with a lovely attic that made the children laughing and playing day in and day out. The property includes a delightfully landscaped yard with flowers, trees, shrubs and an indoor swimming pool and a boulles court. The nearby animals made for a fun visit for the younger children. The home was immaculately clean. The decor is a mixture of traditional and modern. The bedding and the mattresses are comfortable, high quality, and new. A lovely house warming treat was in the kitchen when we arrived. Catherine is a kind, attentive and personable host. It is a perfect family escape haven.

Incredible stay in a gorgeous country manor across the street from the town church. Lovely village streets with a small park/pond a few blocks away. The house has 4 huge bedrooms (2 en suite with shower/sink), a large bathroom upstairs with beautiful shower and sink, separate toilets upstairs/downstairs, expansive views of the gardens, high ceilings, and a great kitchen for cooking and entertaining. We made breakfast and dinner each day and retired to the living room at the end of each night to reminisce about the day and plan for the next. Quiet, comfortable and cozy. Would stay here again with family and friends to visit Mont Saint-Michel, Omaha Beach and other nearby sites. Merci, Catherine! Our stay was fantastic!
