This. Place. Is. BEAUTIFUL! We will definitely be returning as it was so peaceful, we felt at one with nature and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The hut was pristine and had everything we needed, and more! Would recommend 12/10!!!!

We honestly couldn’t say enough good things about our stay! The location is absolutely incredible and so beautiful. Clive and Nikki were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The guidebook that we were sent after booking was so useful it had everything you could need or want in there. The shepherds hut itself was set out so cleverly and had everything you would need & the bed was comfy. Everything was spotless. The Jacuzzi was such a lovely bonus and so nice to sit in and look over the river. We loved all the animals especially getting to feed the goats. We enjoyed watching the chickens and the ducks and having cuddles with Norman the cat. It was such a treat to see the steam train go past in the distance. and it was nice to sit on the decking in the comfy chair watching all the wildlife and listening to the sounds of the river. It’s a beautiful part of the country. They are a lovely family and Clive and Nikki were excellent hosts we can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much.

Me and my boyfriend just finished our stay, it was an absolutely beautiful location with lovely walks and lots of things to do, overall I would give more than 5* if possible. The guy was a perfect size with all necessary stuff. the only thing for the future if it’s a wet week remember your wellies as the bottom of the track was flooded after a lot of rain but me and my focus were all good getting through.

Beautiful stay! Very helpful, welcoming and thoughtful hosts. The hut is located in a beautiful and peaceful area. Very clean and cosy. Lots of local pubs near by with great food. We didn’t want to leave!
