Your stay at The Lodge perfectly balances hotel luxury with all the comforts of home. If you like huge sumptuous king beds that you never want to get out of (no Queen beds here), lovely entertaining spaces as well as all the details taken care of, The Lodge is the place for you. The details Three large king sized bedrooms await you. The main bedroom features a king-size bed with the award winning Sleeping Duck mattress with 1000tc sheets and fluffy feather duvets encompassed in linen covers. Opposite the bed is a 50" HDTV with Netflix and Disney. This room also has an ensuite bathroom complete with underfloor heating, heated towel rail and a large walk-in robe. The bedroom opposite features two king-single beds again with the award winning Sleeping Duck mattress's (one medium, one soft) and an additional pull out single bed ottoman. There is a built in robe, kids books and toys and enough room for kids to play in. The third bedroom also features a king-size bed with a luxurious Sheridan mattress topper that makes you feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. All beds have the same high quality linens as the main bedroom. There is also a built in robe so plenty of storage. The main bathroom is a large shower room with underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. Both bathrooms have hairdryers, quality shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The large kitchen has everything you will need to create a yummy roast or a cake for a post ski/ bike/ hike treat. You will find a slow cooker, pressure cooker, rice cooker, sandwich press, everything needed to make cakes, as well as a Nespresso machine. The large stone island bench top also has seating for 6 stools and the whole area is warmed with underfloor heating (please be aware that there is no indoor dining table but plenty of seating around the kitchen island). Basic provisions are provided such as salt, pepper, oil etc. The expansive lounging area features a 4 seater leather sofa and two koala armchairs with footstools to lie back and relax. A large 65" QLED TV featuring Netflix, Disney, Prime as well as terrestrial TV. There is a wood burning stove for cold nights, although the house is well insulated and warms up quickly with the underfloor heating. There is also plenty of board games, books and jigsaws. The private outdoor deck is the perfect sun trap and north facing so even a sunny 10 degree days feel very warm. There is a Weber BBQ, an outdoor dining table for up to 8 people and also two Mensa heaters for under the table which creates a lovely warm dining area. Around the corner is the new alfresco firepit table and seating area, complete with low level lighting and candles to create your perfect insta moments. Drink some local schnapps (welcome gift) and snuggle up to get that perfect European Apres Ski vibe. A very large laundry is positioned to the rear of the house with a connecting door into the garage. There is lots of storage in here, with plenty of drying room and storage space. Garage: For you mountain bikers and skiers/ boarders, we have a secure garage for all your storage. For the very expensive bikes, there is also an additional secure bike rack inside for that added piece of mind. Just bring a lock. For bike maintenance, there is a heavy duty bike pump and an outdoor power hose for washing after a dirty day out on the tracks. We ask that all bikes, skis/boards remain in the garage. We have a large laundry with heated flooring which is perfect for removing muddy outdoor clothing. Also included are a travel cot, baby bath and highchair. We are located in a beautiful quiet location which is a short walk (300m) down a private track to the edge of the lake. The Lodge sleeps 6 adults very comfortably, in addition there is an extra pull out single bed so it can sleep 7 (you will need to alert us in advance if this single bed is required). There is also a travel cot available for an infant, although you will need to bring your own bedding for the cot. This is our home away from home and furnished very comfortably with all the details taken care of, we do not therefore allow any parties and at least two group members must be over the age of 25yrs for every booking. Guests MUST NOT BYO any additional mattresses or bedding. Any extra guests will be asked to leave and extra fees will apply.
