The Studio, our version of a rustic camp, is a tiny cabin on our property completely finished by Wayne's hand from top to bottom, containing a memory foam full-sized bed, and basic amenities such as small sink, coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, TV and full shower. We have fast wifi for your streaming devices. The studio DOES include use of deck amenities, HOT TUB, GRILL, FIRE PIT and PORCH SWING at the Hammer & Fiddle Cabin on the premises. You will notice two cabins on our property. The large cabin is for personal family use only, so it is NEVER booked when you are occupying. There is total privacy for the guests. I think a very important part of this listing is that we are guests in the mountains of Ellijay. It is home to feral and wild animals, insects, and the beautiful outdoors. The mountain road that gets you to the cabin is subjective to weather conditions. It can be in great shape one day, but on another occasion it may have pot holes or mud, dust, etc. Our community does its’ best to maintain it, but it is still a mountain road. A four wheel drive is always better in the mountains, but it is also quite doable with a regular two wheel vehicle. For your convenience, we provide STARTER items, such as shampoo/conditioner, body wash and body cream, hand soap, paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and other essential items to get you to the local GROCERY store, where you can purchase your foodstuffs and additional supplies. You may want to pick up some extra kindling for the Fire Pit. This Studio is a little gem! Tucked deeply in the trees surrounding Briar Creek and nearby Ellijay and Blue Ridge, you will find the perfect location for your latest adventure. While you are at the Studio, you will have complete privacy as we never simultaneously book the big Hammer & Fiddle cabin, allowing you private access to the driveway, fire pit, hot tub/spa, gas grill, (located on the deck of the Hammer & Fiddle) and space which includes a great porch swing. The interior of the big cabin is not included. Authentic in nature, to an "old soul" in the neighborhood, this camp takes you back to simplicity, but has all amenities of the present. Not too high on the mountain, not too low in the valley…Looking to be inspired, look no further! Sit among the trees, prepare for hiking the trails, white-water rafting on the rivers nearby, or just relaxing on the porch. Read a good book with your favorite beverage, Write, listen to the tranquility! We envisioned this little place as a respite for active explorers. Finding some re-imagined ways to enjoy our outdoors, but ending your day in THE PERFECT LITTLE SANCTUARY. This is a “no frills” camp, however, it does have fast wifi and you are able to stream from any device you may carry with you on your journey. We have a small TV for your cable viewing (Roku). Our camp is designed to regenerate your senses and truly get back to the basics and beauty of nature. We hope our Studio will inspire you to return again and again.
