We liked the place in general, and we had a nice stay, but there were some things that were lacking. It would have been nice to have a better description of where/ what the office was that we were supposed to use to check in at. The kitchen is pretty lacking. It is stocked to a bare minimum. The listing said there was a dishwasher. There was not. It also said the essentials were there to cook and eat with. There was an absolute bare minimum. It was very low on cookware, and eating utensils, there were not even paper towels. There was one hand towel and dish rag. The listing also claimed there was salt and pepper, but there wasn't any. The oven is tiny, and the stove top is very lacking. The burners were uneven, and one didn't even work. Outside of the kitchen, we really enjoyed the place, and the balcony had a beautiful view. Our only other thought was that it could use a more thorough cleaning.

Bed was extremely comfortable. Balcony view was peaceful. Wi-Fi was patchy. Nice size bathroom. Water felt like soft water treated.

This was an awesome location! We loved how private it felt! There is a room below and next door but the one next doors patio is lower so you wouldn’t feel weird if someone was outside at the same time. We came during the week so we had no neighbors till Thursday night. There has been a lot of rain so the stream that the patio overlooks was flowing beautifully and you can’t beat the sound! We even saw a a huge Blue Heron and a red headed wood pecker! The cabin had everything we needed to feel comfortable! There is a 24 hour front desk so if you leave early or get in late there is someone to check you in/out. The only thing I would recommend is bringing your own pillows as the ones provided are not super comfortable. There is a super close Thai place that we walked to; I recommend the blue crab fried rice! Thank you for allowing us to rent this awesome space! We highly recommend and will be telling any of our friends that plan to visit Gatlinburg!

We rented the honeymoon cabin. Was exactly as pictured. The indoor fireplace and hot tub where both relaxing and romantic.
