I strongly recommend this accommodation and this host! It was a very nice experience and if I am ever back in Madeira I will definitely book there again. Joaquim was one of the nicest hosts I ever met and the interactions with him were always very pleasant. He was also very helpful and the communication was very smooth. The location is great for different kinds of trips and there are beautiful hikes in the area too. The accommodation was just as in the images with a TRULY BEAUTIFUL view of the ocean and mountains and the room was very cozy as well. The kitchen was tidy and equipped well and there was enough room in the refrigerator. I would recommend renting a car while staying since the trips to the ocean and beaches, hikes or even shops could be challenging because of the rather infrequent public transport and hilly landscape – but I enjoyed my stay even without a car.

Great location, close to the restaurant is Sao Vicente. Great spot to explore the rest of the island, too!
