The listing was not accurate. Besides the cockroaches when we arrived, we were not told that in order to use hot water a switch on the boiler first had to be turned on. Then when we did that it blew a fuse and the power went out, requiring us to find the circuit breaker behind a large wall mirror. The bedroom was very bright due to the shade being insufficient to keep out the light, making it difficult to sleep. When we brought these problems to the Host’s attention she seemed more concerned about getting a bad review than addressing the problems. She said we could stay for free in exchange for a good review but we left after the second day as soon as we could find another place to stay nearby. The Host later reneged on the offer to not charge us after we complained to Airbnb and also made false statements to Airbnb, which we were able to prove via text messages my wife had saved. All in all, a very unpleasant experience.
