We were an extended family of 17 people aged between 3 and 82 + a dog celebrating my father's 70th birthday. We rented the Main Farm house + the Lodge and we had plenty of space with 2 hot tubs to use. There is also a Cottage attached that might be rented separately with another hot tub. We had quite extreme Scottish weather for the duration of our stay in early April, but the house itself was worth staying at, even if we did nothing else. We even enjoyed hot tubs with snow on the ground! Location is very good with all main sites including Edinburgh only 30 mins drive away. I must THANK the home owner Gray who even sorted out our Tesco's delivery as we were late for the check in. He was exceptionally friendly and showed us around the property and emptied the bins and cleaned hot tubs in the middle of our 4 day stay. I highly recommend this house for a family or friends get togethers. What a privilege to have spent time at this stunning house and beautiful Scotland. Aija & family

Such a great house for a celebration! Yvonne and Grey were really attentive, communicative and kind hosts. The house was as described and perfect for a large group. The hot tubs are brilliant and the surroundings are wonderful. So many little touches made the stay special like the welcome basket and having bathrobes available. Cannot recommend this house more and thank you so much to Yvonne and Grey!

Great house. Ideal for our big extended family group. Bar room, and big sitting room with open fire were our favourite areas. Made the most of the big garden too! Hosts were great.

There were about 14 us (all relatives ages 5-60) traveling together to Scotland. This location was PERFECT!!!! It is a beautiful house that comfortably and easily accommodated all of us! The hot tub was a plus, as well as the "game room" , living rooms and sun room! The kitchen was large enough to prepare group meals. The entire house was very well decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The home is in the country with a beautiful yard surrounded by trees and grassland. The location is only about 30 minutes from several target areas we had to visit, including Edinburgh, Falkland Palace and burgh, Kirkaldy, Ravenscraig ruins/park, and other great sites. It is less than an hour from Anstruther and, therefore, closer to ALL the sites to see on the coast in between! The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. They suggested we visit the lighthouse at Ellie and, if possible, go to the Isle of May. We did both and had an amazing time! Everyone in our group loved this place!

Gray and Yvonne were absolutely fantastic. They greeted us enthusiastically the first day and showed us around, sharing little tips and tricks about the place and the surrounding area. They were courteous and considerate when they stopped by to do upkeep on the property. We stayed a week and they refreshed our towels and bathrobes halfway through. We had ample space for gathering and it was private enough that each group had their own space too. We spent lots of time in the hot tub and had enough cooking utensils and plates for the 13 people we had there. From the location, we drove to St. Andrews, Edinburgh (many times), Glasgow and Lanark (to see the Clyde Falls). None were more than an hour away. We would definitely stay here again.
