If you have no other options, this is a cheap place to stay maybe for a backpacker or student as you’ll save money but as a professional it’s worth spending more to have a decent room. Adam let me know when I was on my way that the cleaner had let them down and the bedding hadn’t been changed but that I could get a night free if I changed the sheets myself. He said he had not wiped the surfaces but he had vacuumed but had run out of time to change bedding. When I arrived and checked out the room, it was obvious no one had vacuumed. There were food crumbs and bits on the floor and under the bed and outside the bedroom door. There was a smell in the room and the bed was not made. I didn’t stay to check out the kitchen or bathroom. The mat in the room is grubby. The good news is that when I asked for a refund I didn’t have to argue. Thankfully I could go back to my family’s home and I had a car or else it would have been very inconvenient.

The other guests were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Because of the calm environment, I found it possible to concentrate on getting som work done - day and evenings.

The hosts are very helpful and responsive which makes the stay more enjoyable. There are 3 rooms on the 1st floor and 2 rooms on the second floor which all are rented by people mostly short term. And a bathroom on each floor, but the one on the 3rd floor has a shower with only two working temperatures, either ice cold and steaming hot. The bathtub with shower on second floor works well though. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and kitchen really depended on the current renters of whome some weren't thoughtful but there is a cleaner once a week as I understood. This room is greatly equipped with an iron, clothing rack, tv, a comfortable bed. It's next to the bathroom. All in all I'm satisfied with the well equipped and thought through interior.

in the end was very disappointed in this B&B I could of gave it an easy 4*. but due to a number of issues I left very annoyed. I stayed for 3 weeks mon-fri. for business purposes. when I checked in the room hadn't been cleaned, bed wasn't made, stinky towel on the bed. bin full of rubbish. the host promised to clean the following day but failed to do so when returned after work. then after calling her she came up and cleaned. this happened twice, & had to make my own bed second time around. what I'm most annoyed about is that I was promised a refund that she never ended up giving me after her promising me one. not to mention her response time was so slow took her all day, sometimes the following day to respond. if she is to Run a b&B she needs to do alot more for her guest like cleaning rooms and responding to clients. not just sit back N take the money. yes the room was cheap. so wasn't going to be too harsh, but not receiving the refund too it too far. very bad hosting from her!
