This 2BR 1BA cabin sleeps 4 adults and 2 children sleeping in the loft (one twin bed) or a cot (by request). The large master bedroom has a new queen-size bed and a sliding glass door to the front deck. The second bedroom contains a new full-size bed. It includes a fully equipped kitchen & dining area w/ a second sliding glass door to the deck, along with a secondary living room. The loft off the kitchen has a twin bed and space for another sleeping bag if desired, which children tend to love. The cabin has a propane grill, picnic table, a fire pit, and a very large, private, covered deck with some of the best views of the property. Coffee maker, linen/bedding, bath towels, cooking utensils, pots & pans, and tableware are all provided. This cabin has heat & air conditioning, a television with streaming services (Netflix, etc.), on-site coin-operated laundry, and newly installed fiber internet.

Rustic but very very nice love the deck
Loved this Cabin! My family of 6 (10-16) stayed here very comfortably. Younger kids LOVED the loft space, and mom and dad appreciated the master bedroom/deck. My XC runner enjoyed easy access to trails. The location was great for exploring South and North Black Hills. Garret responded quickly to any questions I had. We would come here again!
Hidden Gem! Location, Location, Location!!! This place was beyond fabulous! First we will start with the location. You are within 1 hour of Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Keystone, Custer, Wind Caves, Custer State Park, Hot Springs where the Mammoth Site is, Needles Highway and Iron Mountain, plus many others. Accommodations: Cabin 12 - Restful Oasis! This smartly appointed 2 bedroom with loft, is well stocked with all your needs to either cook on the grill outside or to make a gourmet meal inside. Snuggle down in the quaint living room to watch a good movie or read your favorite book. You can either enter the large deck from the Master bedroom or the kitchen thru sliding glass doors. Taking you to breathtaking views of beautiful meadows, trees, and mountains, looking at natures wondrous beauty. The atmosphere is peaceful and bliss. For a nice retreat away from cooking and playing bartender. Take a short walk up the hill to the restaurant and enjoy a fabulous breakfast, lunch or dinner. Or take a step out of your busy day and enjoy a nice cold beer or cocktail, relaxing and mingling with some of the locals and find out all the secret spots to explore in the area. I highly recommend staying at Garrets Place, you will not be disappointed.

Nestled in the pines, at the center of the Hills, & along Horse Creek. HCR is adjacent to Sheridan Lake and mere miles from Pactola and Mt. Rushmore. With plenty of trails, local wineries & breweries to explore, you're not far from anything. Plan to stay awhile!
Horse Creek runs through the property, which is surrounded by Black Hills National Forest. Bring your UTVs and hiking boots, the trails are directly accessible from the resort! Come relax, discover, and enjoy!
