Pearl’s place is very clean and comfortable and it is right across from the beach and near to cafes and restaurants. Pearl was a great communicator, very helpful and responsive and fit us in the same day we booked. The apartment has a pretty small living area and the main bedroom is on the main road which has loud traffic noise. The second bedroom is not on the main road and doesn’t have traffic noise.

Fantastic location and lovely apartment but only one bedroom was made up, despite being advertised as 2 bedroom. When we enquired about linen for second bedroom we were told that we should have let them know we wanted to use the second bedroom. Spare linen was not available in the apartment and no solution was offered until the third night of our 3 night stay. There was a fitted sheet on the second bed but it was dirty as was the mattress protector, both had small blood stains. We washed these and borrowed linen from family. Biggest disappointment was attitude of the owner e.g, her complaining about cost of laundering linen. In ten years of renting through AirBnB have never had an owner complain to me about their running costs, which presumably are factored into the $300 plus per night we paid.

This little gem is an amazing spot a stones throw from the beach. Even though you’re off a main road they have it insulated to keep noise relatively down. Very easy to communicate with and gave local recommendations. Would love to stay again.

We had a great stay at Pearl’s. It was right across from the beach and close to public transport. Lots of shops and food options within walking distance and the apartment was beautiful.

Great location!!! Across The street from Elwood beach with its walking/cycling path. The most amazing sunsets. Coffee shops and restaurants are all walkable.
