Surf Break is steps from the beach and two blocks walking distance to all you need, restaurants, groceries, pharmacy and more. With 2,400 sq. ft. at your disposal, this four-bedroom , four bath property allows for the fun to spill out onto a wrap-around deck complete with breathtaking views. Downstairs offers two master bedrooms with adjoining baths as well as a full bath at the foot of the stairs. A fully stocked kitchen that opens to the family room. The dining table is large enough for 8, there is also a dinette at the foot of the stairs that can seat 6. Or take your meals outside on the table by the ocean. Upstairs is the third bedroom with a private bath. The fourth bedroom is a treat. It is a large family room, 20X20, with a sleeper sofa, three built in bunk beds and a view beyond compare. The bathroom at the foot of the stairs serves this space. So pack up a picnic, borrow our beach gear, and head out. Alternatively, hop on a bike and explore the nearby town to experience all this under-the-radar beach town has to offer. Parking is available in the garage, which is large enough for 2 cars, and additional vehicles can park in the driveway. This home is a gem! We are a family of four who stayed at this lovely home for 5 nights. The house was clean and felt very homey, with gorgeous rooms. The layout of rooms was great, also the location. The beautiful beach was right outside the door, and the home was decorated with beautiful details and great amenities. Communication with the host was fast and friendly. We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this.
We stayed a month and were sad to go! The home is exactly as described….very cozy with all the things you need to be comfortable. Kurt and his wife were easy to contact and responded quickly. A five star experience all of the way around.
Wonderful place to stay! Exactly what we were hoping for on the beach, and the basket of beach towels was a great touch. Plenty of space for our 8 people (4 adults, 4 kids).
My family and I had a great stay. The direct oceanfront location, easy walking distance from town, was ideal. The whole house was very comfortable but the large and very comfortable deck right on the beach was very special. We spent many relaxing hours on the deck: talking, reading, drinking cocktails and being mesmerized by the waves. We had never been to Melbourne Beach, although we have stayed at many places all around Florida, east coast and west coast. We liked the laid back atmosphere of MB: no high rises, no glitz, no pretentiousness; a bit of Old Florida.
Beautifully decorated and an amazing location! Loved relaxing on the deck and sitting on the beach. Close to shops & restaurants. Kurt & his wife are great hosts, very responsive & informative. Amazing house for a family vacation!

Thanks to Melbourne Beach’s secluded location on the east side of the A1A highway, it is one of the safest vacation destinations for families with kids. It is also one of the most private havens that is overflowing with activity. Not only do you not have to cross the highway to access the pristine beaches and seaside villages, but nearly everything is accessible with only a bicycle or a short walk.
Regardless of whether you prefer the salt and sun or the beach or you are interested in trying your hand at some freshwater Florida fishing, outdoor activities are accessible in abundance at Melbourne Beach.
Leisure Activities: All within walking (or biking) distance!
~Ryckman Park: Try your hand at bocce ball or pickleball. There’s also a playground for kids and a pier for fishing.
~Melbourne Beach: Lounge under the shade of a parasol or round up a few friends for a game of beach volleyball. If it's between April and June, head out at night to see if you can spot some of the Loggerhead Turtles as they come up onto the beach for nesting season.

~Coconut Point Park
Food: While we highly recommend using the full kitchen or BBQ at home, don’t miss the chance to try one of the many delicious restaurants within walking distance:
~Sunnyside Cafe (4-minute walk) - Classic diner fare, great for breakfast and lunch.
~Roburritos (6-minute walk) - After an adrenaline-filled morning in the water, nothing tastes as good for lunch as a burrito.
~Ocean 302 Bar & Grill (5-minute walk) - Upscale eatery with burgers, seafood, and a nice selection of craft beer.
~Oceanside Pizza (5-minute walk) - Mouthwatering pizza and a delectable eggplant parmesan. Eat in, pick up, or order for delivery.
Fishing: With both saltwater and freshwater options, nothing beats Florida fishing.
