It's hard to put into words the magic of Lucie and Paul's place! Definitely the most memorable Airbnb experience we've had. We didn't want to leave! I was a bit apprehensive to stay somewhere only accessible by train/bike/foot, but we never once missed having a car. In fact, the absence of traffic noise/exhaust was so lovely. We stayed 6 nights and had plenty to do/explore. We enjoyed several of Lucie's hiking recommendations (outlined in detail in the guest handbook) and did part of the "Norway in a Nutshell" tour, as well as had a lovely rained-in day, cozy-ing up to the fire. Lucie's meals were AMAZING - she very kindly accommodated my gluten intolerance with the THE BEST gluten free baguette, focaccia and waffles I've ever had! The quiet (and black-out curtains) were perfect antidotes for two insomniacs with jet lag. We left deeply inspired by Lucie and Paul's eco-friendly, nature-loving lifestyle and the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend!!

Fantastisch!! Perfect! Dit is echt een paradijsje. Wat kunnen we hier nog schrijven wat nog niet genoemd is.. Allereerst zijn Lucie en Paul hele fijne mensen, proactief, heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en Lucie maakt de heerlijkste gerechten, waarvan veel biologische producten uit de streek en/of zelfgemaakt zoals t brood. Wat wil je nog meer dan zo'n ontbijt en t prachtige uitzicht? En dan nog kayaken over t meer dat voelt alsof t van jezelf is. Hiken, fietsen er is nog zoveel meer te doen. Tot slot nog een zeer comfortabele en grote cabin met alles wat je nodig hebt. Het is een verwennerij! Dank jullie wel!!

Lucie and Paul have a perfect retreat, stunning tranquil location, lovely clean open plan living space, and large balcony overlooking mountains and lake. Its very special. There are plenty of activities on the doorstep, including hikes into the mountains, canoeing and swimming (if you are brave) in the water and bike hire to explore the beautiful mountain path between Flam and Myrdal. Lucie is very helpful with advise, and in general a wonderful host, plus there is a comprehensive guide in the property with lots things to do in the immediate area. Finally if you opt for the food, Lucie is an amazing chef, the beautifully presented, locally sourced meals were a real highlight. If you are reading this review my advise would be to book immediately.

Lucie and Paul’s place was extremely confortable. We felt immediately welcome and the location and view from the balcony is simply magical. You can go swimming (assuming you like the cold water) or canoeing on the lake, and there is an incredible zip-line experience nearby that you must not miss! Lucie and Paul were very friendly, gave us good suggestions for activities and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. All in all a great experience.

Notre périple en Norvège a été hautement bonifié par notre séjour chez Lucie et Paul. Une expérience unique, un endroit encore plus chaleureux que ce qu’on avait imaginé! Des hôtes qui ont su rendre le tout exceptionnel avec leur accueil, leurs attentions et surtout quel festin avons-nous eu droit de la cuisine de Lucie!
