I loved staying with Mr. Tony! He has such a gorgeous home!!!! Every piece in the house has a story and adds to the beauty of its age. The location is gorgeous and the bedrooms have so much natural light!!! It was refreshing to wake up in the morning. The place is also spotless and conveniently near metro stations. There is a charming little Italian restaurant and coffee shop right around the corner. Despite staying a holiday weekend, it was very peaceful. If you could choose any place to give you privacy, location, and a taste of historic New York…. This is the place!! It was my first time visiting NYC and I could not have asked for more. Thank you, Mr. Tony!!!

This rental attracted me for the quirky nature and the photos and that is great. A couple of points could make this a five star stay. New York codes dont allow rooms to be locked when leaving for the day and their is no lock so a safe would be reassuring to visitors. You can lock your room with a chain when you are in it. The shared bathroom for us was via the landing however the other room had access via a jack and jill door directly. whilst when they were in the bathroom they could lock the landing door, we relied on them not to come in which is not great and could be easily fixed with a small bolt or close that door and make access fpr all via landing.

La casa è molto bella e arredata con molto gusto. Tony è stato molto gentile nell'accoglierci, nello spiegare le regole della casa, ci ha anche aiutato a portare i bagagli in camera. Va precisato che la camera era al terzo piano e non c'è ascensore, trattandosi di una casa d'epoca. Ci sono anche molte opere d'arte sui muri, quindi occorre scendere e salire con prudenza. La camera era molto ampia, divisa in zona notte e zona giorno, con molto spazio per i bagagli. Aveva anche la cabina armadio. Il bagno (condiviso con gli ospiti dell'altra camera allo stesso piano) era molto grande e molto pulito, con tutti gli accessori necessari. A piantereno ampia cucina per fare eventualmente i pasti con frigorifero e angolo cottura. Possibile anche accedere a un bel cortile (noi non ci siamo andati). Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Si trova a West Harlem, vicino a due linee della metropolitana (35-40 minuti dal centro).

This is my first time staying in an Air BnB where others are also staying at the same time. I absolutely loved my experience here. Tony communicates extremely well! He was very attentive to my arrival plans. Instructions and expectations where very detailed and easy to follow! Very kind gentleman. The house is easy to get to and close to just about everything. The sub station was a simple 4 minute walk and the neighborhood was very nice! Hudson River is very close and makes for a beautiful walk! I really felt like I was with family for my week stay and I will definitely visit again!
