Great house tucked away, has a great stay and Marie was wonderful with explaining house to find the property!

Was a very nice place to stay only issue is I didn’t know how to work the oven and didn’t get any response back from the host when I called up or texted about other things I needed help with. Despite this I did enjoy the house it was just perfect for my little get away between my semesters would probably go again as it’s near my Nana’s house and I did like the overall place !

Marie's Cottage was exactly as described and show. It had everything I needed for a five night stay. Marie was so friendly and gave clear and easy to follow instructions for check in. The Cottage felt like a cosy sanctuary at the end of each day, after exploring the Pembrokeshire NP through the storms! I didn't want to check out...

When we arrived the property was freezing cold. This was the first icy weekend of the year. Instructions in property said to adjust thermostat so we did this no problem. Property itself was fine, we are quite often in Haverfordwest for sports competitions and would happily have stayed again. However when we left I turned the heating down but not off, bearing in mind it was icy outside. Before I even got home, I had a message saying that the owner had sent us a bill for £15 because we didn’t turn the heating off when we left. If you search very hard in the property description, it does say on the pre booking information that you must turn heating off as you leave. I feel this is excessive but I have been hounded since for payment that I refuse to make. Also I am not very happy that Marie had obviously been in the property while we were out. There is a camera at the front door, not a problem but I don’t like that she went in without telling us when she knew we were out.
