This was by far our best stay on Islay dew to the accomodation the house was perfect and the table tennis table was great to pass time would be happy to stay here again

A lovely house! The living area is especially fantastic for socialising. We did lots of cooking over the week and found the kitchen to be reasonably well equipped. The table tennis table and all the games would keep small children well entertained too! A great central location for exploring the island

Lovely converted Byre in a rural location. Loved the location, scenery was amazing. Every window had a different beautiful view. The Byre was very spacious, the open kitchen was excellent with 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, a huge fridge and a huge freezer. There is a separate wine cooler! The kitchen has lots of crockery and cutlery and even a mixer! The dinning table was great too fitting 8 round it. The lounge area was relaxing with a log fire. The carpets were however a bit worn and some of cushions and one of chairs that had seen better days! There is a homemade table tennis table in the lounge too which is fantastic! Games and lots of books too! The main downstairs bedroom is a great size and the bed was very comfortable. The middle downstairs bedroom needs some TLC - the curtains are shabby and bed is a bit grubby round the edges. Upstairs is 2 bedrooms with en suite in both. One of the beds more comfortable than the other. ( could be preference) Great showers all round. Utility room has separate washing machine and drier. Outside there is a picnic bench. Great location to explore Islay. I would return here for sure. I would advise you to get exact directions too as we initially struggled to find it.

Absolutely stunning property in the perfect location, easy to get to and only a short taxi ride into Bowmore. Would highly recommend and will be returning to stay when in Islay.

great location with amazing views, we really enjoyed our stay, thank you
