Wendy's hospitality is exceptional! We've traveled extensively with Airbnb and this accommodation ranks high on the list for the detail the host puts into her apartment. The cleanliness is also exemplary and we highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to visit again!

Our stay at this Airbnb was simply delightful! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how impeccably clean and inviting the space was. It was evident that Wendy and Don took great care to ensure every corner was spotless and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was how well-stocked the Airbnb was. It had everything we needed and more. From toiletries in the bathroom to kitchen essentials, Wendy and Don truly thought of everything to make their guests feel at home. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was Wendy and Don's warmth and hospitality. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and their genuine care for their guests made us feel like we were staying with friends rather than strangers. Wendy even made us cookies! Overall, I can't recommend this Airbnb enough. It exceeded all expectations and was clean, well-stocked, ideally located, and hosted by wonderful people. I can't wait to come back for another visit!

The Top Story is a fantastic getaway in Sierra county full of down home country hospitality & historic charm — the hosts Wendy & Don are amazing! When you stay in Loyalton your eyes get washed in the raw beauty of the surrounding wilderness!!! The adventure never ended for me exploring nearby trails and lakes for fishing. I caught rainbow trout and baked it back at the Top Story for cozy dinners to escape the snow flurries. The Top Story had all the amenities we needed and more. For more city amenities, Reno-Sparks wasn’t too far of a drive away. I preferred to stay more local and enjoyed exploring close-by to the Airbnb. I loved this place and wouldn’t hesitate to book the Top Story again and again!

Wendy & Don were just amazing hosts. The Top Story is truly a hidden gem. Comfy beds, homemade treats, and a welcoming PIG! The area is short on places to eat so plan ahead as some places aren’t open or close early in surrounding towns. We will definitely be visiting again when we’re back in the area. Thanks yall ❤️
