Overall our experience at the tipsy tiki was great The house was spotless and very well stocked. the host was very friendly and responsive and the property was well kept A couple things that were somewhat disappointing was the bbq the pictures show a “green egg” which is one of the things that made this property even more appealing as we love to smoke, however when I inquired i was told the pictures were not updated and it has been replaced with a (very small) propane bbq. The tv in the tiki bar didn’t work which for our family wasn’t a huge deal but to some it might matter The pool would have to be our biggest complaint. The vacuum wasn’t working when we got there so the pool did not look very clean I informed Catherine and was able to get a pool tech to come look at it a couple days later It was good for a few days but I’m not sure if the vacuum was still functioning properly because near the end of our trip the pool was dirty and murky again Overall we really did love our stay!!

Our family enjoyed a relaxing vacation together at the Tipsy Tiki. Our host was always a message away and quick to respond to any questions. The pool, tiki bar, and screened patio were our favorite hang out places during our week there. My children enjoyed a multi-day game of Monopoly on the large coffee table and watching their streaming shows at night. We would highly recommend this location for anyone wanting a wonderful home to spend quality time together. Thank you for hosting us!

Great stay at Gretchen's place, the pool and tiki bar were amazing! Gretchen was quick to respond and answered any questions we had. We will be returning!

Our stay at the "Tipsy Tiki" was okay. The good: welcome amenities, beds and linens, TVs in every room, well-equipped kitchen, communicative property manager. The not great: this property seemed to illustrate the notion of profitability over integrity. From the photos, we were expecting a tropical oasis with an amazing space for our young family to enjoy. What we encountered was a tired and worn-out version of what the photos showed. The yard was very overgrown with weeds. The pool did not have a vacuum and was full of leaves, sand and debris (yes I understand this is normal for pools, but this situation was extreme). The tiki bar is a glorified TV stand as none of the appliances in or under the bar were functional. After pool maintenance came and four hours of landscaping the property began to resemble the place we thought we booked. It was almost a full day after check-in that we were able to use the yard and pool. A disappointing start to our vacation.
