We loved our stay and our host. We had a minor issue with check out and he was super responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend! And there are a ton of stairs down to the water but honestly I took it as a good work out. Would stay again.

Place was great inside but the fire pit needs work … Price on cottage is high … there’s no kayaks or fishing boat for that price . Other than that the place was nice and clean …

Jorge’s Fox Lake house was magical. The house itself has everything you need for a family or group of friends and is highly versatile whether you have kids with you or a group of adults, or even just one or two people. There is a lot to do just on the grounds of this air bnb. The area is residential and quiet, but if you want to go out to eat or drink, the main town area is a quick drive or 20 minute walk away. I arrived via Metra train, so you don’t even need to have a car to get to this wonderful location. I absolutely loved staying here and Jorge was very quick to respond to my very few questions. I stayed in the winter but I bet if you enjoy water sports or boating, it must be great all year round!
