The host never sent check in instructions. Did not respond to questions in days leading up to check in. And when we arrived at the house it was locked and we and AirBnb rep didn’t get any response from the host. So we found ourselves looking for new accommodations at 7:30 at night when we have a 1 year old baby who needed to get to bed. Total nightmare.

Please understand that the owners live in the basement. If you are in town with friends to enjoy the city….DO NOT STAY HERE. Owners live downstairs and will confront you about getting in late. The home is in a great area, clean, but it is definitely not some place to stay if you’re looking to have any fun at the actual house. Lourdes was nice but her partner was creeping and peeking through the window to see what our group was up to late at night. Extremely uncomfortable feeling. Not to mention the cameras in the living room and dining room. They claimed we smoked in the house. Absolutely untrue. They claimed we were there to destroy the house. Absolutely untrue. To have to walk on eggshells while on vacation, for a place that costs nearly $500/night is absolutely unacceptable. Lourdes should reconsider the nature of this business. It is truly a shame that our stay was overshadowed by the terrible hosting experience. Zero stars if possible.

The house was better than what we expected. Location is great, and very convenient. Lourdes was a great host, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I dont think you can do better anywhere else in the area.
