The overall experience was ok, the house was clean, tidy and like new. There are 2 negative points. First, accessing the resort at night is somewhat dangerous; there are animals, the area is full of vegetation, no people, no lighting, and the road is extremely narrow for a large car. Second, the house is cold; it is Winter even though it is Spring; even if the radiators are at maximum, they take many hours to heat the house, and the humidity is extremely high. I downloaded and read the radiator manual, and although I left the radiators at 21 or 22 degrees at night, it went down to 19 degrees and during the day to 15 degrees. I had to wake up a couple of hours before the children to heat the house in the morning. Otherwise, it was at least 15 degrees in our pyjamas. The views are beautiful, and the people are very friendly and peaceful, but the cafe was usually closed. The house had no phone signal (zero bars with EE), and the beaches were too cold.

Sandy Toes was the perfect place for us to meet and relax. Louise and Gez have obviously recently decorated the lodge to an excellent standard and it felt modern, clean and really tasteful. We had such an ideal stay that we are already trying to plan a repeat visit! Can’t speak more highly of Sandy Toes or our hosts.

Sandy Toes was immaculate, clean and cosy. it had everything you could possibly need and more. There were blankets, treats for both us and the dog. The duvet covers were very cosy. There was even a torch which came in very handy. The terrace is nice and would be great in the summer. The villa is obviously well loved and looked after and so clean. Location wise a short walk to the beach where dogs are allowed all day this time of year. There is also a bar there with has priceless views out to sea. Thank you Louise and family.

Louise ist ein sehr zuvorkommender Host. Mit Louise’s Wegbeschreibung war alles ganz einfach zu finden. Überrascht hat uns das Willkommen Paket und das handgeschriebene Welcome Book mit vielen Vorschlägen für Unternehmungen. Viel schöner als abgebildet. Schön gelegen für Tagesausflüge. Ich und meine Kinder (22, 14) und unser Hund sind begeistert. Gerne wieder. Ich habe Sandy Toes auch Freunden empfohlen! Vielen Dank an Louise & Gez für diese super entspannte Woche in Sandy Toes.
