Nice house near blue ridge. We had to be nearby for a wedding weekend so it suited our purpose, but house was very isolated and the river was a twenty minute walk from the house. The amenities at the house were nice and they have a nice back porch but we didn’t use it much because the chicken farm nearby is very smelly so we stayed indoors when on the premises. The carriage house above the garage was also very musty and took a long time to air out

Everything was great! The house is beautiful! Loved the back deck. Plenty of room for everyone, the only disadvantage to this property which is no fault of the owners, but the chicken farm smell was not the greatest. When we were there the weather was rainy the first couple of days, and we noticed the smell was worse then. Other than that I would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful place and big enough for our family reunion. We had a wonderful time. There was a slight scent from the chicken farm down the road at certain times but you can’t smell from inside the house. Other times it was fine even outside …so it depends on the wind. This is out of the control of the owners. Other than that this is absolutely perfect retreat house and we would recommend it to others for sure.

Cabin was in a great location, close to Blue Ridge. The outside space was awesome for our big group. Yes, the chicken farm smell would come & go, but it didn’t deter us from enjoying the space.

Great spot. We had plenty of room with small kids and they actually had toys and all the things for them as well! Easy drive to town and loved being there! Chris was a great host!
