Everything went well, the place is as described, spacious, and with a very nice view. The beach as well as the town centre are accessible by way of two paths with stairs, which were no big deal for us, but you have to be reasonably fit. The host was welcoming and responsive; we were charged 15 euros for the transfer from/to the station by the host, each way. Downsides: no mosquito nets on the doors leading to the terrace and the windows (in this region they are a must, especially during the summer and Fall). Also, when it's windy, there's a loud noise coming from the windows due to imperfect insulation. The water pressure and volume of the water from the shower are very low/small. No information was provided about waste disposal, and the separate collection of different kinds of household waste, which seems to be available in the town (a bit of environmental awareness these days would not hurt). With just a bit of extra care for the details, the place would truly deserve the 5 stars that most guests gave it.

What a fantastic find! Great value for money! The place has a beautiful view over the whole of Scalea, both city and sea! The host is super accommodating and very helpful! Highly recommend for a nice quiet getaway! The beaches of Scalea are a must!

View from the terrace: priceless. Apartment is immaculately clean. Stay was extraordinary. Recommended, especially for those with a car or the ability to climb the many, many stairs in the approach to the unit. We loved the stay. Thank you so much!

The location is perfect 10 min walk to the beach and old town for food and what not. The view from the balcony is amazing and pictures don’t do it justice!! Mountains , town and beach 180° view. Galina and her husband picked us and dropped to the station and her husband helped us with our heavy bags which we are very grateful for.
