It was a good time as always.
Our stay was so perfect and such a relaxing get away. We are from the area and usually stay with family. We threw my grandfather a surprise party for his 80th birthday in Lester and this cabin made us feel right at home. Easy in and out. Conveniently located near stores and other amenities. Will definitely recommend to anyone else wanting to stay in the area.

It was a really cool and unique stay! The house was amazing and made our experience extra special. I would be aware that the shower and kitchen are in a separate building so be aware if staying when it’s cold out!
Awesome place that takes you back in time! Definitely worth visiting!

Jeff and Sarah are living in and loving Wild Wonderful West Virginia. The couple moved to Fayetteville, WV from Morgantown, WV a few years ago when their son, Seth graduated HS. They enjoy hiking with their Golden, Luna and enjoying all the beauty and adventure in WV and the New River Gorge National Park. The Covey House 1855 (in Glen Daniel, WV) and Archie are co-hosted by Jeff's mom, Sheila. Sheila and her husband Charlie make their home in Fayetteville with their Old English Sheep Dog, Zoey. They enjoy the beauty of WV and their 10 grandchildren. Jeff’s sister, Dana assists with co-hosting as well. Dana and her husband, John live in the mountain town of Asheville, NC with their two teenage sons, Noah &Tosh . Dana enjoys playing guitar, singing, painting & loving on her cute little Berniedoodle, Chole (aka CoCo aka Beyoncé). We are all happy to host our guests and strive for a great experience and vacation!
