This home is so well decorated and cozy at the same time. Some of the most comfortable bedding I’ve ever slept in. Bailey is wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. This is the best of airbnb right here!

The house was mostly great, we visited for the eclipse, the location was perfect––easy walk with our 8-year-old to Butler Park, lots of great food nearby. A couple of things folks should know: 1. There are no blinds except in one of the smaller rooms––only sheer curtains. If you are not used to sleeping with a lot of light, maybe stay elsewhere. 2. The fan/lights in the two small bedrooms respond to each other's remotes. This made it very hard to make sure the kiddo's overhead stayed off while using the other room. (The only lamp didn't work.) 3. The pool situation wasn't ideal; vacuum full of leaves and many more in the pool. Also, because part of the patio is large gravel, many pieces had gotten into the pool as well, which (we found when we eventually got into the pool) was a rather painful surprise every few steps. Bailey tried to call her pool guy, but because of the eclipse no one came to clean it. I ended up cleaning the vacuum/pool myself. Otherwise we had a great time!

If you are on the fence about this house, don’t be - DO IT. Not only is everything as described and shown, there are countless other amenities that make it truly a (gorgeous) home away from home. I have never seen a house so well stocked with necessities. All those little things you end up needing to buy out of town are in this house. From ziploc bags to pumps for inflatable pool floats, to extra toothbrushes and bath bombs, Bailey has thought about it all. The house is in a prime location - very close to South Congress, in walking distance to restaurants and Town Lake, and very close to everything you’d want to visit and do in Austin. Every finish, every detail is beautiful and luxurious, including the linens. The space is open, pristine, and just beautiful. Bailey is exceptionally friendly and communicative and was responsive to every question - though there weren’t many because this home is so stellar. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and will most certainly be back.
