Stayed here for a few days when visiting Yale. Beautiful place in a beautiful neighborhood. The loft was gorgeous! Walking distance to the campus and downtown. Thank you! Would love to stay here again.
Oyi’s place, if you’re lucky enough to stay here, is a treasure. The design of the loft, it’s location - all of it!! It was a pleasure coming back home and you almost hated leaving! If you’re considering booking, just give yourself a gift and do it :)
I was lucky to call the loft my home for 2+ months. I felt right at home. The space is cozy, bed so comfortable. Ulo and Oyi are great hosts and so responsive to every need. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful experience in this beautiful loft space. It was extremely comfortable and very spacious. The setting is lovely and easily walkable to town & the Yale campus. Oyi & Ulo were both very responsive. There are many amenitites including laundry. We couldn't be any happier with our stay.
Oyi and Ulo were wonderful hosts - communicative, clear and helpful. They really saved the day when my initial Airbnb reservation fell through at the last minute on graduation weekend. Overall I had a pleasant stay. The studio was clean, the bed was comfortable and the area was quiet. I got a good night's sleep which was the main thing I was looking for. The location also turned out to be better than expected. My main issue was the cramped bathroom - there was little to no space for toiletries and there wasn't a good place to even hang a towel other than using a plastic coat hanger. I was paying top dollar because of graduation so I expected the bathroom would be more standard. At a minimum, a photo of what to expect would have been helpful. Nicer toiletries would've been great, too. Travelers should be aware that the staircase leading to the studio is very narrow and winding. We didn't see a light which made navigating the staircase at night challenging with suitcases.
Wooster Square is a neighborhood in New Haven, located East of Downtown. Wooster Square is also known as Little Italy: a bastion of Italian American culture and cuisine, and is home to some of New Haven's (and the country's), best-known pizza (specifically, apizza) eateries, including Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana and Sally's Apizza. It is organized around the Wooster square park, and is a vibrant neighborhood with a charming mix of old and new New Haven.
We have on-street parking and provide a parking tag for one vehicle. You can also catch the downtown 206 or 204 bus 1 or 2 minutes away from the property.
You can walk downtown, or cycle.
