Unfortunately, this AirBnB was a bit disappointing although we absolutely loved Dinant! Starting with the positive, wifi was good, private parking was okay, and the location was great! Walking distance from the Citadel, close driving to grocery stores and bakeries as well as downtown. Dinant has so much to offer. For beer enthusiasts, definitely check out the Maison Leffe and Brasserie Caracole brewery. Now the hard truth. At the beginning, we were greeted by barking, growling, and unleashed dogs with poop on the ground leading up to our flat (these were constant issues throughout our stay). The dogs were even growling at my two toddlers. The AirBnB note said the dogs were “very nice”, but they certainly didn’t appear that way. We checked in just fine, but once we came in, it smelled of stale cigarette smoke (no one in my family smokes so we can smell it clearly) even though the house rules says no smoking. Sleep was also unpleasant. There is an air conditioner in the loft (entertainment room), but it didn’t seem to work. The bedrooms didn’t have A/C and in the heat of August, we had to keep the windows open, but because we were next to a busy road, the passing vehicles became too loud for a pleasant sleep, especially if they’re big farming tractors or motorcycles with loud mufflers. The AirBnB note stated, “Road in front of the apartment but well isolated.” “Isolated” was definitely not the case. Additionally, although the sheets and towels were cleaned, the mattresses and pillows definitely were not as several of us had mild allergic reactions after each night. There was also a faint cigarette smell on them. The folding twin bed also doesn’t fit in any of the bedrooms so we placed it in the dining room instead and the bed doesn’t lay flat. Be sure to also bring your own toilet paper. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 toddlers staying 3 nights and were only provided 2 rolls of toilet paper. Then you’ll find that the refrigerator doesn’t have a freezer, so good luck if you plan to bring anything that needs to be kept frozen. Also, the stairs are really steep. Not great for elderly folks or little children. If you don’t mind dogs (and their poop not picked up in a timely manner), smell of cigarettes, and if you’re a deep sleeper that doesn’t mind busy streets, this AirBnB is perfect for you! In that case, I highly recommend it!

Rapport qualité/prix pas top ! Impossibilité de déplier le 3ème espèce de couchage dans aucune des 2 chambres, pour 4 personnes (1 couple + 2 enfants) ça été très compliqué ! Dans la salle à manger ou à monter en mezzanine, pourquoi pas ? Attention à la dénomination "Loft", ça fait rêver normalement ... Accessibilité = 0 pointé, deconseillé si vous avez quelques difficultés physiques. Les accès et les extérieurs ne font pas rêver, ils ne sont ni cool ni exploitables quelque soit la saison. Pourrait convenir à un séjour professionnel par exemple. Propriétaire ni arrangeante ni compréhensive, suite à évènement familial (décès), refus de rembourser une nuit (ardoise salée de 387€ pour 1 nuit !). De l'ensemble de nos expériences Airbnb c'est la + décevante en accès, en localisation, en nombre et qualité de couchage par rapport aux descriptifs, et enfin en relationnel pas top ... Une double literie d'une chambre laisse des traces au levé, attention aux dos fragiles ... La route est très passante et l'insonorisation de la fenêtre de chambre côté rue est insuffisante. Pas d'obturation lumière non plus pour les chambres, c'est difficile de dormir après 5h du matin l'été ! Avant votre sejour, prevoyez une préparation physique pour assurer les temps donnés sur le descriptif pour rejoindre le centre de Dinant et son retour surtout ! ainsi que le portage des bagages sur 3 niveaux dont un non sécurisé et très raide ! Est-ce bien aux normes ? Equipements de cuisine conforme aux attendus standard. Ne recommandons pas pour personnes de + de 60 ans, de jeunes enfants et toute personne souffrant physiquement. En résumé, mauvais souvenir de ce logement dans ses conditions d'accès, de confort de couchage et tarifaire ! Malheureusement le relationnel n'y était pas non plus ! Par contre les bords de meuse et le centre du bourg sont pittoresques et les cafetiers, restaurateurs et commercants sont très accueillants et vous attendent ! Sinon ça serait trop déprimant ...
