Matt is a great host. Always replies to messages promptly. Was kind enough to leave our dog treats. He doesn't charge a pet fee which is also nice. The living and bedroom spaces were free of clean & free of excess clutter. Matt's place is good if you are coming for a night as a single or couple to break up a long drive. I will say we had NO IDEA that this was Matt's actual apartment where someone resides. I now realize it says that further down in the listing, and admittedly did not see that when making the booking. I would recommend that it be one of the first things noted in the listing because that came as a HUGE surprise to us. As it is someone's primary residence, it wasn't professionally cleaned. We weren't aware that there was a train behind the building that comes through multiple times per day. And the smell of the neighbors partaking of "that which is legal in New Jersey" wafted into the apartment which caused some questions from our 12 year old son.
