A peaceful getaway, a nature lover's dream. A family friendly place, no alcohol, smoking, loud music allowed in cabins or on campground. This is not for everyone, you will be asked to leave if you violate these rules. This is a place where children can run and safely play; where a couple can come and relax and enjoy peace and quiet; or where one can come and commune with God in nature. We're a hidden treasure, surrounded by woodlands, rolling hills and peaceful valleys, and hiking trails. This is a quiet and peaceful spot to getaway and reflect. The space is clean, quiet, and quaint, include air conditioner and heat. Your spot includes a private deck with gas grill with stove eye for cooking (gas is included), with chairs and table to dine outside and view the lake and surrounding nature; kitchenette inside ( microwave, fridge, sink); bathrooms include walk in shower; living room with nice comfortable love seat and ottoman; sleeping area includes 2 futon bunk beds with futon toppers and blow up mattress for extra comfort if needed; privacy around your cabin hidden by pine trees and overlooking main camp area and lake... and fyi... main camp area (rustic sites) is not permanent campers, so usually very quiet with maybe a few campers; choose any unused campsites below to use for a campfire or use fire ring close to cabins... lots of firewood available, either stacked or plenty of branches available all for free; lots of wooded and open trails for hiking. Inside cabins sleeps 4 comfortable.

Debbie and Larry were great! Debbie communicated wonderfully! The cabin was cute and had enough room to fit 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably. We enjoyed the lake, rope swing, bonfire pits and the trails! We met their dog, Buster, my kids loved playing with him! It was a great and relaxing weekend! We will definitely be back.
This was my first and best airbnb i I have ever tried. It was my fiancé’s birthday and we wanted to get away to swiss valley and Debbies location was perfect and close to everything. Debbie was quick with responses and the place was breathtaking. If you appreciate nature, quietness and a TRUE cozy cabin, this place is for you! There is so much room & the view was absolutely beautiful. Debbie and her family are so welcoming and so sweet. We miss our little friend Buster(cute lab)! Please read Debs rules though. We followed them and enjoyed our stay so much that we are coming back again! This cabin has everything you need and well insulated. But fyi bring instant coffee/tea, lots of snacks/protein! Be PREPARED! Michigan weather can be very cold and you will be surprised. Also, there are pine trees that lead to the cabin and it looks like something out of a fairytale. Debbie was super friendly and available. the property has nice features for kids (boat, trails, a playground). The cabin was spartan and clean.
Overall things were good. Debbie was very sweet and personable and the cabin was clean. They even provided a row boat and life jackets which was awesome. The scenery was peaceful and quiet. The only thing that was disappointing was finding out 400 miles from home that zero bedding was supplied including sheets, pillows, blankets, etc and the mattresses were like box springs. So we had to spend a lot more money than we budgeted for, to buy sheets, pillows, pillow cases, and blankets... I would still come back, but next time I'll definitely be more prepared...
Loved our stay with Debbie. Her property was beautiful and a perfect spot for our short getaway. She was very attentive and accessible! Extra amenities around the farm as well as a row boat to use in the lake were offered to us as a nice surprise.

Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Campground located off quiet dirt road with only 2 homes in view from entrance of camp. Cabins are a long drive up into our campus with no neighbors/homes in sight. Just what you would expect from a country setting... dirt road, quiet, beautiful surroundings... rolling hills and valleys, and friendly neighbors who often wave to passerby's. Enjoy walks on the campground (we have miles of trails) or a peaceful walk in the neighborhood. We do not allow ATV's, but our county (Cass county) is ATV friendly, and allow ATV's on our country roads.
Our cabins are located on the campus of Our Daily Bread Christian Healthcare, Lifestyle Center & Campground. Parking is located next to cabins. We are in a rural setting with the town of Marcellus about 3 miles away (has a Dollar General) and about 15 minutes from Three Rivers (has Meijer and Walmart). We have directions available for getting around. We are 2.5 hrs from Chicago and 2.5 hrs from Detroit. We are located in beautiful SW Michigan, about an hour from Lake Michigan, and 40 minutes from Kalamazoo, the closest big city.

Our campground is a ministry, offering a place of peace and tranquility to retreat from the busyness of life for some rest and relaxation. We're a no-smoking and no-alcohol campus. We hope you will come and enjoy some time out in nature, as we're nestled up in the woods and bordering the entire north side of our semi private 80 acre lake. Hope you'll come aside and rest a while. :)
