By far, this was the best AirBnB we've stayed at in Senegal. Everything felt so clean! The white linens, towels, everything just felt so wonderful. This place was even more beautiful than the photos and exceeded our expectations. We are already looking at our calendars to see when we might be able to come back. The kids enjoyed the pool, the kitchen was well equipped, wonderful living room area. Just a wonderful place in so many ways! A quick note to those coming from the U.S.--Air Conditioning here in Senegal is typically from wall units, so more often than not, it won't be ice cold when you walk inside like a standard HVAC home in the States. Since we live in Dakar, we knew what to expect. It was comfortable inside, but some of the rooms we couldn't get lower than 80 degrees F, so just be prepared to adjust expectations. It will be cooler than it is outside, but it might not be what you're used to. Truly, this was our best vacation in Senegal yet, and we hope to be back!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay and the villa is even more stunning in person!! The caretakers Jean Francois and Felicia were excellent and always available when needed! The owners were responsive and accommodating when our arrival was delayed. I highly recommend this villa and look forward to staying here again in the future!

J'ai passer un séjour d'une semaine au sein de la Villa Awalie, avec 7 autres de mes compagnons. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème durant tout notre séjour. Nous remercions Felicia et Jean-François qui ont étaient très accueillant et super bienveillant avec nous. Merci également à Mansour, qui a été notre chauffeur et guide du premier jusqu'au dernier jour, toujours de bons conseils avec lui. Je pourrai dire encore pleins de bonnes choses au sujet de la villa, de l'accueil et de l'hospitalité des personnes qui ont été avec nous durant le séjour mais je vais faire court, un grand merci à tous et surtout merci à Caroline et à Alexandre. La Villa Awalie, je reviendrai.

Nous avons passe un excellent week-end chez Caroline, la maison est magnifique, communication claire et accueil agreable par Jean Francois et Felicia.

The residence is beautiful. It's the closest thing to paradise. It's very clean and features lots of little nooks to relax. The pool and the garden space are divine. There's plenty of space to read/write in private, socialize with other guests, or simply relax. Any maintenance needs are taken care of immediately. Felicia and Jean-Francois, the groundskeepers, are AMAZING!!! Caroline and Alexandre, the hosts, are proactive and quick to reply. Communication is wonderful. I've stayed here 4 times already, and will return again and again!
