The location is quite nice, albeit quite remote, but the overall stay was pleasant. However, there is room for improvement in terms of the food.
Loved this stay - peaceful, serene, tucked beautifully in the middle of a coffee estate and the highlights are a private waterfall and a stream very close to the property. We absolutely loved having the waterfalls all to ourselves. It’s lovely to just hear the constant gushing of the stream and waterfalls from the rooms. The rooms are decent - only con is no AC and no generator support post 11pm. There was no current throughout the night but to be honest we didn’t even realise it as it was cold enough. Food - very homely, loved it!
Such a lovely place to stay. Caretakers are very friendly and cooks awesome food. Please bear in mind that the place is nestled deep inside coffee plantation, meaning stunning views, but also nil mobile signals, its far from town and the road is bad. Rest the place was very beautiful.
Good hospitality and food! Clean rooms. Approach road upto 7 kms is not good, be careful about leeches when you visit during rainy season. Rooms were damp. We cannot take our vehicle for sight seeing as the roads are bad, jeep charges from the property are very high. Property is slightly over priced considering all of the above.
The location of the stay is very nice. The food was homely as well.

As the bugalow is located in the coffee plantations, at a distance of 35 km from Chikmagalur, it takes one hour and 15 minutes to reach through road from the town. The last 4 kms is mud road - please note this can be a bumpy ride.
Chikmagalur is well connected to cities like Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore and Hassan by road, so you can travel there by bus. Mangalore airport is the nearest airport, which is located 150 km away from Chikmagalur. Kadur bus station, 38 km from Chikmagalur, is the nearest major bus terminal.
We can also arrange pickup and drop facilities in a jeep from Chikmagalur town upon request. Escorts to accompany guests from Chikamagalur are also arranged on prior notice.
We have a spacious car parking lot and you can drive your own cars to the property.
