This is a fantastic place, very comfortable and peaceful. Even outside, yes you hear a bit the motorway in the background but it really isn’t bothering at all. Would 100% recommend, the location is great and would book again.

Lovely stay at Grove Lodge - Michael was responsive with any queries and gave lots of information. The drive to the property is a little steep but due to the elevation, there are great views and a footpath walk not far. Enjoyable few days :)

Had a late Christmas with some family here and the place was perfect! The location is excellent and the surroundings are really beautiful. You can catch the sunset on the balcony every evening which is just incredible. The place is well stocked with everything you need, even catering for the maximum number of guests. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a family getaway, there's honestly nothing we could fault. We look forward to visiting again in summer. Thank you Micheal!

A lovely place hidden away from the world. The hosts were helpful, provided a manual which covered everything you need to know, including how to check-in/out (very easy), what to do with rubbish/recycling & how to use the appliances in the lodge. The manual was sent prior to arrival. The lodge was very spacious (5 adults and a dog), we didn’t feel like we were in each others pockets. Beautiful view, great location, good walks. Clean and tidy with all mod cons available. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up a Christmas feast. Such a shame the record player and games console wasn’t working during our visit. We didn’t notice the noise of the M5, but interesting to see how busy it was on Christmas Day! Brilliant size table for Dungeons & Dragons play. The only downside is that if you are a light sleeper you might struggle as the boiler is very noisy and will kick in when using toilets/taps/heating/shower (although highlighted in manual). All-in-all a pleasant stay.
