The place is great! It meets the expectations. Only thing I would say to give a heads up to anyone wanting to go with family, make sure they are comfortable with going into camping conditions, as I went with my family and it took me a while to convince them 😅 but at the end we all loves it!

This is a lovely eco glamping site - with a focus on eco! If you're looking for a super luxurious stay then maybe this sin't quite right for you - but thats not to to say that this isn't a lovely and comfortable place to stay. Everything is done with sustainability in mind, from the eco-toilet to lighting. The shower works well, albeit chilly, but its kinda fun as well! There's no power sockets but there is a USB charger which helped us keep a couple of devices charged up during out trip, which was all we needed. The tents are well furnished and really comfortable. The larger tent comfortably sleeps 4, with the smaller tent being more cosy, and suitable for two people instead. We stayed with 2 children and they loved it - especially having marshmallows over the fire pit. The site is slightly awkward to carry things to when first arriving, as the path leading to it is a bit narrow and uneven, but it's manageable and didn't effect our enjoyment of the stay. Its set next to a working farm, so expect to hear sheep and cows at random times in the night! In terms of location, it's really well placed,. with Widemouth only 5 minutes away and Bude a further 5 minutes down the road, which was perfect for us. If you're looking for a relaxing and natural stay, then we'd definitely recommend it. It maybe doesn't have all the home comforts that most people will be used to but it was the perfect base for us.
Such a peaceful and private glamping spot! There’s everything you need for a comfortable stay with a focus on eco friendly and sustainable living. The bell tents, loo, shower and kitchen are all super clean and tidy with everything you need and the fire pit is perfect for a BBQ. Karl is a lovely, laid-back host who gets back to you as soon as you need anything during your stay and has loads of great tips for things to do nearby. Can’t wait to come back again for a longer stay - thanks Karl!
