Our hosts were very welcoming & informative. The place was very comfortable & suited our needs well. Slade Point is a nice little beachside area of Mackay & is closely situated to the CBD. We not hesitate in returning should we find ourselves in the area again.

The driveway is a bit rough however wonderful place and Christine and Brad is supper supportive.

My family and I stayed for a week and we loved the house. Very beautiful and clean. It has everything we needed too. The beach is walking distance and the local general store is close by too. Would definitely highly recommend and would definitely return. Thank you so much for your beautiful house!

Slade Point is an area that is very important to me. I thank the hosts for creating this Airbnb so I could revisit memories such as watching the sunrise over the water one block away. We would return for that magnificent reason. After a day we did feel what was missing: scissors, light in the bathroom, bedside lamp in the bedroom, power outlets, toilet paper and tissues. The fan in the bedroom worked well, only one AC for the place but it was not that hot during our stay. The place was fairly easy to find in daylight. Communication with hosts was a tiny little bit sensitive at first, but we chatted and reached an accord. Appreciating actual owners of actual places, yeah it can get stressful. The following was new to me: guests are asked to take photo of their passport etc and upload it to a third party app 24 hours before arrival for a background check.
