Gorgeous location, well-appointed unit and great use of space. Janet was super helpful, flexible about check in and everything just felt welcoming. The 1/2 hr drive to Little Narrows (a local ferry) and the community of Whycocomagh is definitely worth it!

My husband and I are sailors and upon our retirement in 2022, we are spending half the year cruising on our 38’ sailboat and half the year in one of our rental cottages in Iona. I was owner/operator of a management company for a small condo complex in Cedar Key, FL for 18 years, offering daily, weekly and monthly rentals. My husband is a cabinet maker and he operated a cabinet shop for a few months in the winter in Florida. He is now building 2 more rental cottages on our property due to be ready for renters in 2023. We have had much experience managing rentals for others and are enjoying hosting our own cottages on the Bras d'Or Lake in Iona, NS
