Absolutely what our family needed! Kids loved it..quiet and very peaceful! Very clean. This is such a great place to rest relax and reset…if you’re thinking about it…just do it you won’t regret it!
CLEANLINESS WAS NOT UP TO PAR. Steer clear if you expect clean bedding, flooring, and outside decks. The company running this BNB is the pits! Upon arrival we I informed them of the dirty floors and porch and sitting areas were very dirty, not blown off from falling leaves prior to our arrival. Then, when we inspected our bedding, we found other peoples hair and stains. They gave us no response and ignored all of our request the entire time we were there. for the amount that we paid, this place should have been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. It was extremely inconvenient to have to clean floors and bedding before we could settle in. The positives were the location and the views were stunning.
We loved this cabin! It had everything that we needed and the views were even better than the photos online!
The first thing I'll say is do Not! follow the GPS once you arrive at the cabin up Racoon Drive. If you take Racoon Drive, it turn into a dirt road. Currently, the road is washed out with decent ruts. Had to put the 4runner in 4x4 to get up it. Your Honda civic or mini-van will not make it and it will bottom-out. Instead, take PIPES BRANCH ROAD up the street, which leads into Raccoon Drive from the back side. This half of the road is paved and narrow, but the honda Civic will make it. The Cabin itself is very nice. Lots of room, the kitchen is well stocked. The cabin was clean. The games downstairs don't work properly, more just for show. The view is great. Overall, it was a great weekend trip.
Amazing Place. We have stayed at many Air B&Bs but this one is at the top of our list!. Great amenities! Excellent communication with Host. Way beyond our expectations. Perfect for families with children or for adults. Felt like a home and not a hotel! Highly. recommend!
