Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. La maison est facile d'accès, il était facile de se garer alors que nous avions pourtant une grande voiture. La maison a le charme de l'ancien avec le confort moderne: les peintures, les parquets et carreaux au sol sont patinés, mais l'isolement thermique est très bien fait, il faisait bon au rez de chaussée comme à l'étage en plein mois de décembre. La salle de bain est agréable, l'eau chaude arrive très vite et a une bonne pression. Le village est très pittoresque, c'est un plaisir d'avoir une boulangerie si proche de chez soi. Henri a été très facile à joindre durant notre séjour. Une très bonne adresse pour profiter de la campagne près de Versailles et de Paris.

Nous étions en famille (deux enfants). La chambre regorgeant de jouets a immédiatement conquis nos enfants. La maison est très confortable et l’environnement est calme avec plusieurs commerces accessibles à pied. Henri est un hôte très accueillant et réactif.

We had a lovely stay at the house. Both inside the home and the grounds were beautiful, and the village was quaint with good food options. Unfortunately we visited when some businesses were on holiday, but what we did try was great. Henri was very responsive and the house suited our 4 adults and two children (ages 11 and 8) well.

We had a fantastic time staying in Henry’s house! The garden is great for children, (we were just missing a bbq). The house is rustic and under renovation in general - so AirBnB customers only have access to certain part of the house (no access to upper 2nd level or lower ground level) . The kitchen was a bit too basic for us with no extractor fan and one very small sink. The location was super and the village was beautiful. Please be aware that the Chateau Dampierre is closed for renovations which was disappointing as we had considered staying in this location because of this. Also in August it is not the best time to visit as 90% of shops and restaurants were closed. The pizza restaurant was open and they were very nice! The church is beautiful to visit and there are lots of lovely walks in the forests. Henry was a great host with regular contact. It’s an amazing property and when it’s finished it will be exceptional.
