Before booking we checked the comments and asked for ongoing construction. To which Shalini replied yes and said the room is in first floor. We went ahead and booked this place but unfortunately on reaching the location we understood that this is a room in the second floor in a building undergoing full fledged construction. Theres cement and all materials lying all around. No proper way to the entrance. Theres construction workers all around. Definitely not safe for a solo traveller. We dint even feel safe although we were a couple. The bathroom was very poorly maintained- especially the closet . We dint unpack. Called her immediately and she arranged for a different listing. It was supposed to be of more cost but she gave to us at the same rate. The same night since wifi wasnt working and the caretaker wasnt reachable, i called her immediately past 11pm and the guy who answered the phone call was very rude. Said this isnt the time to call. It was a great stay! I would definitely take this airbnb next time I visit Varanasi. The room was very clean and matched the description given. The geyser in the bathroom stopped working and had to wait for 2 days to get it working again. It would have been better if the room had a kettle to make hot water.

We stayed for a few weeks and the service is commendable. The host is very responsive and helpful. The staffs are also very helpful. Best place to stay for a weekend at varanasi. They provide us a safe environment and also all amenities as specified. They also provided us an extra table as per our request. I would suggest it to be the best.
