This place, simply, is great. First and foremost because of its character. It is beautifully designed and finished, almost all in wood, by the host himself. The craftsmanship is superb. The setting is serene and private. The host is friendly and responsive. Walk or drive around to see the Swift River and fine old houses.

Such an awesome place! Gerry’s creativity and skill shine in the beautiful space he’s built. Honestly, I almost want to avoid praising it so much so that we don’t have issues booking it again this summer! It had such a spacious feeling with the windows and lighting. The pool table was a lot of fun and in great condition. Only complaint is we didn’t stay long enough to read more of the great selection of books Gerry has!

What a beautiful space with many thoughtful touches! We felt right at home immediately, and Gerry was there to greet us in a warm and friendly way. We would totally stay again! Loved this place.

Happy Maples is our holiday tradition and we already look forward to our next visit. Ideally located in a quiet and peaceful space. Could not ask for more a more welcoming and responsive host!
